I feel the need to quiet the mind, to be able to see and feel things without thoughts, preconceived ideas and beliefs. To be able to tap not only into my own soul, where my creativity resides, I also want to connect with the creative energy of the universe, which takes it’s form in all the living things around us. I am in that space when I paint or draw.
I create also to communicate with people, to share that quiet and unlimited space within, where everything is connected. Everybody possesses this space, but the chatter of the mind tends to veil it.
I hope that my artwork will remind them of their own soul that “thinks with pictures”.
